Bookbinding Toolkit + Notebook Project

Lemonly Crafts Bookbinding Toolkit is the perfect kit for first time bookbinders, including all you need to learn the basic techniques. The compact tin contains: An awl, a paper creaser, binders clips, beeswax, DMC cotton pearl thread (various pastel colours), needles, a hole spacing guide, a hand bound instruction book, a practice stitcher, and for each purchase we plant a tree.

UPDATE: The plastic paper creaser has been replaced by a wooden one for environmental reasons, so it is slightly different to the one pictured but works just as well! The thread has also been updated from standard cotton embroidery thread to high quality DMC cotton pearl thread in beautiful pastel colours. Picture to be updated soon!

It includes paper and card to make three mini notebooks, in a simple saddle stitch bound style, including written instructions and links to video tutorials. The mini notebooks are made using 8 A5 sheets of paper and 1 A5 piece of pastel coloured recycled card, these fold down to make A6 notebooks. So in total you will receive, 24 pieces of A5 paper, and 3 pieces of A5 pastel coloured recycled card. The beauty of the kit is that to make more books, you just need more paper, the tools can be used indefinitely and the beeswax and thread will last to make many more books than the three notebooks.

The tins are painted with water based, eco friendly paint, using stencils, as such they're all slightly different, with small imperfections making them each unique.
